Revision Rhinoplasty
Revision rhinoplasty often focuses on correcting only what is visible. But the same problem can recur if the reason the first operation failed is not addressed. Dr. Lee first investigates the cause with 3D CT and an examination. The surgical approach differs depending on whether the implant pocket is off-center, the nasal tip cartilage is compressed, or scar tissue has contracted after inflammation.
Diagnosis
3D CT is used to assess the nasal bones, cartilage, and degree of deviation

If appearance is the only concern, the decision is made about 1 year after the first operation
Materials
The patient's own cartilage is used for the tip, and an implant suited to the skin is used for the bridge
When the eyes look droopy, eyelid surgery is often the first consideration. If lowered eyebrows are the cause, however, removing eyelid skin may leave the heavy appearance unresolved. Dr. Lee inserts an endoscope through small incisions within the hair-bearing scalp, reduces the pull of the muscles that draw the eyebrows downward, and lifts and secures the forehead and eyebrows in position. The incisions are small, and the magnified view helps the surgeon avoid nerves and blood vessels.

The cartilage at my nasal tip was clearly pushed to one side, more noticeably in person than in photos. It showed from both the front and the side, so I decided to have surgery. Perhaps thanks to the doctor's skill, I had no swelling or bruising afterward. Even in person, it looks corrected the way I wanted, and I am very satisfied. Revision with Ear Cartilage After Implant Removal

I developed inflammation after my first rhinoplasty, so the implant was removed and I had revision surgery using a little ear cartilage to prevent nasal contracture. It has been almost 3 months. There is no discharge now, but I think some scar tissue remains. My nose feels tight and sometimes hurts, and my ear is quite painful. There is a fold where the ear cartilage was taken. It is hidden when my hair is down, but it bothers me when I tie it up. Still, I am relieved that my nose no longer has discharge. What disappoints me is that I have never had a nose I liked, starting with the first operation. At first, in addition to the inflammation, my nose was made so high that people asked whether I was Russian, which was stressful too. Since removal, the tip is a little upturned, but that seems unavoidable. I think I have to be satisfied with this. You really need to research surgery carefully. I have found some comfort at the second clinic, where I had the removal surgery, and I think things will be okay once I have fully recovered.
Revision Septal Reconstruction

I had rhinoplasty 5 years ago, but my septum collapsed and I needed revision surgery. The doctor said he had fully reconstructed it. My nose was very asymmetric, so he placed cartilage on the right and aligned the nostrils. People usually consult several clinics for revision surgery, but everyone I asked mentioned UVOM, so I went straight there. I got along well with the clinic manager from the first consultation and was already leaning toward the clinic. After an X-ray, I consulted the chief director, who explained everything in detail. I booked then and there without consulting anywhere else. The result looked natural, so I referred a friend, who also had surgery. The swelling is going down every day and the shape is settling. There is still a little residual swelling, but people around me say it is barely noticeable.

Before surgery, I habitually used my forehead to open my eyes. I have genetically deep horizontal forehead lines and had Botox regularly. As I grew older, I developed resistance to Botox and the wrinkles worsened. Even after ptosis surgery, my drooping eyelids completely covered my eyelid creases, so I raised my eyebrows even more. Today is day 28 after surgery. The swelling seems to be gone and the forehead scars are barely visible. The drawbacks are that I am middle-aged with a lot of gray hair but still cannot dye it, and I am a little worried because my hair has thinned quite a bit at the crown. The asymmetry was corrected well, but my eyes were uneven to begin with, so the eyelid creases are also uneven. After recovery, I plan to have revision eyelid surgery and surgery at the outer corners of my eyes. The brow lift was very difficult and painful, but I am satisfied and just hope it lasts a long time.

It has been one week since surgery and about 30~40% of the swelling remains. I like that my hidden eyelid creases now show and my eyes look larger. I had the brow lift because my expression lines were severe. They were invisible at rest but became very deep when I raised my eyebrows or frowned. Now neither my forehead nor the bridge of my nose wrinkles. My forehead is a little wider, though, and still numb; I think the feeling will return with time. The doctor seemed skilled and trustworthy, so I booked immediately without going elsewhere. I was disappointed by the staff's manner and the aftercare.
Removal of Grafted Fat from the Forehead, Cheeks, and Chin

I had fat grafted to my forehead, cheeks, and chin about 3 years ago and have now had it removed. Because my eyes looked heavy, I also had incisional ptosis correction. The fat was removed first, followed by the eye surgery. Dr. Jung Su Lee removed the fat, and another chief director performed the ptosis correction. Quite some time has passed, and my forehead and chin now have almost no pain and look much more natural. My cheeks still hurt a little, so it seems too early to say they are fully recovered. They are much better than at first, but occasionally hurt when I smile, wash my face, or touch it, which is uncomfortable. Still, I am really pleased with the design. My face had looked heavy and unnatural after the fat grafting, but it has improved, and the overall contours look much cleaner and more natural. I am now waiting for the cheek pain to improve a little more.
